In development · Android and iOS

Split what you spend with the people you spend it with.

Pally keeps track of who paid for what, so the group settles up without anyone doing the arithmetic.

Not in the app stores yet. No ads, ever, and nothing sold on.

Three taps from “I’ll get this one” to a balance everyone can see.

No spreadsheet, no running tab in someone’s notes app, no awkward maths at the end of the trip.

1

Make a group

Roommates, a trip, a standing five-a-side game. Add everyone who’s in on it — including the people who aren’t on Pally yet.

2

Add what you paid

An amount, a word about what it was, a category. Split it evenly, or exactly the way it actually went.

3

Watch the balance move

Every expense updates who owes whom — inside the group, and across all of them at once on your home screen.

Split it the way it actually went.

Evenly is the default because it’s usually true. When it isn’t, type exact amounts, use percentages, or give someone a double share because they had the room with the balcony.

Whichever way you do it, the shares are worked out to the cent and always add back up to the total. Pally won’t save an expense that doesn’t.

Small app. Very few opinions, held firmly.

Everything here works today.

👥

Nobody has to sign up first

Add a person by name and start splitting with them the same minute. Their share is real money in the ledger while they’re still just a name.

🔗

An invite that picks up the history

When they finally join, their invite hands them everything already split under their name — not a blank slate from today.

📱

Links that open the app, not a web page

Send a link or hold up a QR code. On a phone with Pally installed the invite opens straight into the group — no browser, no tap-through.

🌎

Every group in its own currency

The Bali trip in rupiah, rent in euros. Each group keeps its own honest balance, and home converts the total at today’s rates and tells you it did.

📜

One feed of what happened

Expenses added, edited and removed, people joining, settlements recorded. Tap any line and you land in the group it came from.

🎨

Owed and owing, never mixed up

One colour means you owe, one means you’re owed, in every screen. Nothing else in the app is allowed to use either of them.

What isn’t here yet.

Every other splitter has these. Better you read it now than find out after installing.

  • NEXT Scanning a receipt Point the camera at the bill and have the amount, the merchant and the category fill themselves in. It’s the reason Pally is being built at all — and it isn’t written yet. Expenses are typed in by hand today.
  • NEXT Settling up The ledger already records a settlement and the activity feed shows one when it happens. The button that lets you make one is still to come, so for now a balance goes to zero the way it always did — by someone paying someone.
  • LATER Reminders and notifications Pally will not currently nudge anyone about anything. Neither will it email you.
  • LATER Exports and spending charts History is all there and filterable by group; getting it out as a CSV, or drawn as a chart by category, comes after the two above.

Want it on your phone early?

Pally is being built in the open by one person. Say hello and you’ll get a build as soon as there’s one worth handing over.

One person reads that inbox. No list, no drip campaign.
